I grew up in Benton, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Washington Bible College in Lanham, MD, where I majored in Bible and minored in Missions. After briefly serving as missionaries in Grenada, West Indies, my family had to return to the U.S.A. because of health reasons.
I home schooled for 23 years. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, leading a women's Bible study, reading, writing, speaking at women's retreats and other women's events, nature, photography, learning, games, puzzles, and fishing. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Eric. We have three children, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons.
The Lord used the publication of The Other Side of the Tapestry to birth a ministry to hurting people. Eric and I are thankful for the opportunities He gives us to participate in events that address topics such as suicide, depression, grief, loss, and mental health.
In addition to having published my book, I write articles and create word and logic puzzles. My work has been published in Focus on the Family's Clubhouse and Clubhouse, Jr. magazines, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Miracles and More, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Laughter is the Best Medicine, Genesee Valley Parent Magazine, Message on-line, and Cadet Quest.
